The First

I didn’t think blogging would be so hard. I thought I could write about anything. Lord knows I have plenty of stories to tell, little anecdotes about my kids, my husband, my friends, and myself. I sit here at my desk trying to be clever, trying to write something note worthy. Something my friends and family would pass on to others, to get my blog buzz going.

I’ll start by answering a simple question: Why Mom for the Moment? Why not Lauryn’s Life or the MADsen House because they are too easy, almost a given to chose as a title. My life is complicated, I’m complicated and I like to make people think. I’m Mom for the moment; I have been for over ten years and will be for many more to come.

I am so much more than a mother and wife and the purpose of this blog is to explore the moments when I have been someone else. Past, present and even future musings will mingle here.
